The Davis Farm Difference

Welcome!  Davis Farm Boston Terriers is a small, home-based Boston Terrier breeding program close to Athens, Georgia. Our dogs, including our puppies, live in our home as cherished family members, so our puppies are raised alongside us in a loving family environment. I keep my females after they retire from breeding because they are our pets and an important part of our family. 

We are a family who fell in love with the Boston Terrier breed, and I chose to dedicate my breeding program to preserving the health, temperament, and beauty of these remarkable dogs. At Davis Farm Boston Terriers, I am committed to maintaining high standards when it comes to the health and well-being of our beloved Boston Terriers. I strive to keep my puppies' new families happy by providing them with dogs that have been born and raised in our home with love and care. 

When looking for dogs for my breeding program, I look for elegance and emotional intelligence. I take great pride in my dogs and the puppies that they produce! 

All Davis Farm puppies are sold as companion dogs only and placed with AKC Limited Registration. Puppies are not sold with breeding rights and are to be spayed or neutered as per my Puppy Contract.

At Davis Farm Boston Terriers, I strive to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all of my dogs. My puppies are raised with the Puppy Culture Program (PCP) for early neurological stimulation, many Davis Farm families have shared with me that their puppy from my program is the smartest dog that they have ever owned. I believe that reflects both genetics and the combination of Puppy Culture plus being raised in a home rather than a kennel environment.

When we brought our first Boston Terrier into our family in 2015 it was very important to us to know that our dog was healthy so that he could live as long and healthy of a life with us as doggily possible.  I want to pass that same peace of mind onto you.  That is why my breeding dogs receive the following health tests:

• CAER Eye Examination 

• BAER Hearing Examination 

• DNA testing for JHC, DM, HUU, CDPA & CDDY/IVDD-associated variants

• Patella Evaluations

• Cardiac Evaluations

• Spinal Radiographs for hemivertebrae and other vertebral abnormalities

• Routine Veterinary Evaluations 

I screen my breeding dogs' spines for hemivertebrae, vertebral abnormalities, and spondylosis as I want to produce puppies with as sound of spines as I can for their health, well-being, and longevity.  I look for bloodlines that meet my standards with each new generation.

My dogs receive both their IABCA International & National Championship Titles whenever possible.  This allows me to receive one-on-one, written evaluations from dog show judges from around the world so that I can ensure that I am breeding for stunning, championship good looks along with sound structure.

I am here as a resource for you after you purchase your puppy so that you can reach out with any questions that you may have.  I raise my dogs in our home in North Georgia, where they enjoy a large fenced yard and more than three miles of walking trails throughout our community. Walking our dogs on the nature trails is one of our family's favorite pastimes!

I take great pride in raising beautiful Boston Terrier puppies who bring joy and companionship to their families. Some of my happiest days are watching a Davis Farm puppy leave for a loving home!
